Los Caidos was formed by Steve Zengel, the former owner of the Beach House Cigars shop, located in New Jersey. Los Caidos was created with charitable intentions, aiming to donate a dollar from every cigar sale to service members; their mission is to raise $1 million for family members of fallen police officers and firefighters. With the tagline Meeting New People. Having Fun. Helping Others., Los Caidos partnered with Aganorsa Leaf for production, with the company's core lineup including the Los Caidos Blue and Red cigars.
