CRAFT Maquette Il Nonno

The CRAFT series from RoMa Craft is among the most sought-after releases from the company, debuting on a near-annual basis since the first cigar release in 2013. Taking the line in a new direction for 2023, RoMa Craft launched the CRAFT Maquette concept. This sub-series gets its name from a term used scale modeling, describing an object made as a preparatory study for a full-scale project. In cigar terms, this applies to blend samples, allowing consumers a chance to sample along with RoMa Craft as the company homes in on a final product. The first CRAFT Maquette cigar is dubbed Il Nonno, being rolled in a single 5" x 52 robusto format and limited to 1,250 cigars. The cigar uses a a hybrid wrapper from Nicaragua (Jalapa), a Brazilian Mata Fina binder, and fillers from the Dominican Republic (Criollo '98 and Corojo '99 ligero), Brazil (Mata Norte Recôncavo viso), and Nicaragua (Criollo viso from Pueblo Nuevo).
