Founders Hamilton Candela is named after Alexander Hamilton, architect of the American financial and banking system. As such, the cigar uses a green (candela) wrapper, as well as a Nicaraguan binder and fillers from the DR (seco negrito), Honduras (seco Piloto Cubano), and Nicaragua (viso Corojo from Jalapa).
