Don Carlos 90 Años

Arturo Fuente debuted the Don Carlos 90 Años cigar in 2025, commemorating what would have been Carlos Fuente Sr.'s 90th birthday. Rolled in a 5¾" x 47 format, the project boasts a unique narrative, featuring two wrappers in a way that might not have been seen in the industry before. To start, the company rolls a Don Carlos cigar in its usual blend: all-Dominican binder/fillers under an African Cameroon wrapper. However, after aging for one year with the other Don Carlos cigars, the Don Carlos 90 Años is brought back to the rolling table and finished with a Dominican Corojo wrapper from the family's Chateau de la Fuente farm. It's not a barber pole. It's not a two-tone wrapper. It's two full wrapper processes—one over the other.
