The Somm BDX Blanc was the successor to the Somm BDX cigar, with the "BDX" being a term for Bourdeaux in the wine world. Continuing the wine theme, Blanc is French for White, alluding to the lighter wrapper used on this release. The cigars feature an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, an Ecuadorian Habano binder, and fillers of Dominican Piloto Cubano, the Jamastran Valley (Honduras), and Nicaragua (Estelí and Jalapa). All leaves were said to have been aged for three years prior to release.
